Key Duties:

  • Provide administration support to the Safety Manager – Helicopters and the Safety Auditor & Investigators
  • Administration support for creating/writing presentations, collation of monthly reports including the board reports, diary management, external audits & travel bookings co-ordination and much, much more
  • Co-Ordinate safety committee meetings, which includes prepare agendas, drafting and distributing the meeting minutes
  • Maintain master copies of manuals for the Safety Team - Helicopter
  • Incident/accident register maintenance, along with recording of accident/incident investigations
  • Work in partnership with the Human Resources team to maintain the health monitoring programme
  • Provide support for Return to Work initiatives
  • Develop safety promotional material
  • Hazard Observation/Improvement Forms and Safety Database administration & maintenance

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:

  • 3+ years Administration experience
  • Have a passion for Safety and Administration
  • Be a “people’s person”
  • Enjoy being the “glue” that holds the team together
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and requirements (desired)
  • Industry experience (desired)
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with confidential information and to exercise the highest degree of discretion
  • Able to set high standards for own performance, demonstrate enthusiasm for the job and take responsibility for successfully completing tasks
  • Knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Office suite
